50 runs in 2 games. Not exactly realistic baseball. More of a dog and pony show. If they're going to do that, do it as exhibition games.

Yankees medical staff have become the NY Mets when it comes to Severino. Let’s face it, he’s done for the year and next season could be in jeopardy as well if it’s a cereal injury. Starting pitching is meager, injuries continue to happen but the bullpen is dominant and the runs keep coming. However, in the playoffs (playoffs?!?!?!), runs become harder to come by which is why the Yankees won’t make it past the first round unless they make some moves.

Do whatever it takes and get Max Scherzer. Give them Clint Frazier and Esteban Flower and for the love of God pass on Madison Square Garden Bum as he’s a bum now.

I agree. Shut Sevy down for the season. get him right, and go all in on Scherzer. Also, keep a close eye on Boyd from Detroit. We’re going to need a pitcher come October.

Yanks have the ALE sewn up this season. If they blow this, it's all on them. Red Sox are certainly no threat. Rays are the only team with any chance at all, and like I said, the Yankees would have to crater to let that happen.

See, all these games east of the Mississippi need to all be played in the west. All these games with weather delays/postponement. That game at Dodger stadium they didn't even slow down for during the earthquake

Awesome sweep! Not easy to do these days. Especially, against the Rays. 3 out of 4 against the Rays. HUGE! If it wasn't for Chapman blowing that first game, we'd be up by 10 games. But, I'll take 8 and 10 over the Sux.

CC’s outing last night was pretty troubling, hope it was just a blip on the radar. Gonna be hard to get through playoffs without him pitching better then he did last night.

Highly doubt CC will start in the postseason. It would be:

Syndergaard (PRAYING)
Domingo
Malaka
Paxton

Like I’ve said before, do whatever it takes for Thor. He would be better than any other available starter:

Madison Bum - better days are behind him
Marcus Spoonman - doesn’t take the Yankees over the top
Trevor Bauer - same as above
Max Shurzer - not available anymore
Zach Wheeler - wheel him a wheelchair

They’ll faulter in the postseason unless they get a true frontline starter and they won’t score that many runs as opposing pitching is mostly dominant. Now, I’m hearing things about this ‘mini Pedro’ the Yankees have in AAA so maybe he gets called up soon.

That's exactly what will happen. Sox always seem to have a huge run drought right after they've had a high scoring game. There's like a dozen meaningless runs tonight. They won't be able to buy a run the next three games.
