well if Lewis is not on pole.. then i d go for Leclerc anyway.. superb job from Leclerc pulling those laps.. he was already at the limit in his previous lap and there was nothing left to pick up really.. wasnt an ideal way to finish the quali but still.. he is on pole.. well done Charles!!!

it was an awful quali for Lewis..
he wasnt looking connected with the car at any corner of the track all weekend and its transferred to the results.. things are not looking good for Lewis at all for tomorrow but i hope his race pace d be much better than the quali.. under race pace car can settle down a bit..

Ric.. how disappointed he is.. visible without taking the helmet off.. his voice and the way he was talking after Q2 on the radio was vividly down..

well done for Vettel.. its great to see him somewhere closer to front..

Leclerc may need to change the transmission.. does look like he may not but still we ll see..

Charles will defense the lead like his life is depended on it.. cause probably this race will be the only race he can able to win this season and its in front of his crowd..

Leclerc will defense hard, Max wont yield.. Bottas is generally not a good overtaker but Sainz will go like a mad dog as well probably.. im expecting a multiple cars involved crash at the first corner tomorrow.. i ll be glad if not and Leclerc wins the race but tomorrows grid has a high tension that can unfold a multiple car crash at the beginning..

Geez, kinda hard to celebrate that one for LEC since he crashed. Was hoping he would take pole outright without question. Now to see if his gear box survived

Very unlikely. The only case I can remember is Derek Daly flying through st. Devote at the beginning of the 1980 Monaco GP.

I kinda believe in karma. If intentional the racing gods will probably bite him tomorrow. However, he did a lot of damage for it to be intentional. Hoping LEC just made a mistake pushing too hard for pole

Or did he learn from his dad to make it look real

That was a hard smash back wheel hanging off on Lec car,as you say what the fk was he playing at?? karma may be a new gearbox probably.

That pic...his wheel steering INTO the barrier I smell something bad. A pole for Ferrari at ANY cost to prevent others from taking it but....we wait on the gearbox.

No worries from a Ferrari fan. I can't speak for everyone but the thought immediately crossed my mind. I hope it wasn't purposeful, LEC seems like a good kid.

Just read on GPblog it looks like a NEW GEARBOX for car 16, Ferrari don't want to risk.

Replacing the Ferrari gearbox isn't the issue .
But hiding from where suddenly the huge Ferrari power is coming from ...
Over the weekend , something was going on , and It was also visible at the Ferrari pit-crew faces and the motivation in the Ferrari box !

As I said : From now on , 7HAM has a new Ferrari investigation project !

Well ...MAX and Charles were never #friends . It was more like a bloody dogfight between these 2 during the karting Championships in the youth...

And Charles treated SEB at Ferrari like a piece of 5H1T ...
