Of course you go to the most unreasonable example to make your, "point". And I wouldn't have that problem because I'd be afraid of myself. You're a real piece of work.

You still don't understand that the application of reasonability is with the person under duress, alone. It's plainly written in the legal example YOU provided. Like many defending a wrong assessment, you are looking at a specific portion of the law instead of the law in its entirety.

LMAO "I'd drive back slowly and carefully to not hit them to avoid getting canceled"
It's not like you're doing something offensive to 18-21 year olds working towards a "liberal arts" degree You'll be fine. Better than that dude a few years ago in the Range Rover who got his shit kicked in for being too much of a pussy to put his life and safety first. |

Well we all hope he is met with kindness when he gets to prison. Or maybe the thought of that kindness will get him to give up the other animals involved.

You are probably right, but he'll get there eventually.

I have no idea what you want me to say. If you thought I ever expressed anything but dismay at their actions you should blame the same lack of reading comprehension that makes you think the law will let you get away with killing anyone just because you feel scared.

Doesn't even matter if he wasn't a juvenile. NYC's policy of catch and release and not worry about posting bond took care of that.

I can't believe i'm posting again in this thread.
If I'm in my car or SUV and you and your "group" of teenagers jump on my hood while I'm in my car with my wife - and are smashing my windows - I'm driving away. If you don't want to be driven over or hit by my car or suv, I suggest you don't jump on my hood and try to smash my windows. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes. |

That type of irrational human is the one that catapults off the hood of an X3 and onto the roof, crushing the windshield. This is why I said earlier in this thread that there are absolutes. For some reason, our current society is raising people who lack the understanding of absolutes.

Imagine if you could send an electrical current through the exterior of your vehicle, not enough to kill them, just a good tase. Would be neat although you would have to determine how to un-ground your vehicle for a short period of time... hmmm. Unless you have the current recirculate before it reaches the ground. It would most likely have to be a separate power supply to your vehicle as you wouldn't want a fault to leave you stranded. Might be possible, although there would definitely be some safety concerns.
Can I get an electrician/EE over here to do some brainstorming!? |

Lawless Chaos
Violence like this is why there is a mass exodus from the usual crime ridden Cities. I used to visit NYC regularly when it was considered "safe". Even then you needed eyes in the back of your head and be constantly aware of your surroundings. I will not risk my safety in that city again. The inmates are running the Asylum.

Perfect World: SUV driver slams on the gas, hits the brakes quickly, then slams on the gas again. The more bumps felt the better as he/she drives to safety.
Imperfect World: Pacified SUV driver scared to death of defending himself/herself due to shitty MSM and social media lunatic brainwashing. I just hope everyone had a mask on or I cannot comprehend how awful all participants in this video would be. |
