But I think with this race and the grid penalty for VER, there's a real chance of a crash between LEC and VER.
The urge to win for LEC (Ferrari) here in Italy is very very big.
I hope VER realises that but VER always has the urge to win, being the die hard driver that he is.
He obviously can afford the crash (in fact it could even help him if LEC also gets a dnf), but.... I hope he may let LEC win if it's the choice between crashing and finishing.

I also have my hopes up for ALO on the podium, but I think RUS in the MERC will be just too strong.

I don't think so,being in a collision would risk a lot for Chas and Max has learnt a lot from HAM how to position himself to stay out of trouble so it would take a desperate LEC to do that and b/c of that we know that Hannah's strat could have him avoiding LEC as much as possible.
I think the Tifosi will find it pointless for Chas to do such a thing and it will only make it worse for him.

Yeah . Charlie had so many expectations from that 2022 superfast Ferrari PU .
And so it was in the beginning of this season and his 80 points lead in the WDC ..

But then came MAX after his 2 DNF ...While Ferrari screwed Charlie beyond believe .
And look where is he now !

Honestly .I can feel his pain ...Damn you Ferrari with your Italian spaghetti strategy !

Legend Derek Warwick crashing and flipping the car at top speed in Parabolica.

James Hunt's commentary is priceless: "There is Warwick running back to get back into the spare car. So, Warwick not only unhurt - even his enthusiasm is unhurt"

Charlie's lead was 80 points ..
And now is MAX leading with 109 points

109 + 80 = 189 WDC points
109 WDC points that's a lead of more than 4 races ..
Actually It's already over for Charlie and Ferrari ...

This memory of mine, doesn't compare but it was reading in Autoweek/Competition press that qualifying for the 1968 Italian GP resulted in John Surtees taking pole for the Honda Racing team, in their Honda RA301...averaging a speed of 150.314 mph which was the first 150mph lap (anywhere) in a Formula 1 car. A really big threshold for the era.
