A small heads up when they do flashbacks/flashforwards/flashsideways would be appreciated.

Started watching Dark after I saw bosstones ' post. Didn't like it in the beginning but getting interesting now, 5 episodes down. Mikel's revelation was mind-boggling
Is it just me or was season 3 of Stranger Things pretty dull as compared to the first two seasons? I mean it wasn't bad but. . .

Yeah, Dark is getting good. I only watch when the girlfriend is around as not to pass her on episodes so it will be a few more days before I can dive back in.

Season 3 of Stranger Things 3 seemed to focus more on all the 80's stuff in the backdrop and lost sight of a good story line. I have to go back and re-watch the last episode. I missed something major by turning it off once Dustin and his girlfriend started singing. As soon as he started singing it instantly made me want to turn it off. In my opinion, the story in season one was fantastic and it captured the essence of the 80's without it being the primary focus. Season 3 was the exact opposite of that. The set and costume designer did their jobs a little too well. The Duffer brothers watched The Faculty and somehow didn't get in trouble with Dimension Films and Robert Rodriguez for stealing the story and then adding the Stranger Things cast plus Russians. There! I said it. The story line was stolen.

Sometimes it gets hard when you start watching a good show with your girlfriend, you have to wait till you can watch it together. She often complains about me watching all the good stuff without her

About the storyline of Stranger Things S3, yes, it was very dull, sometimes I just wanted it to get done, it just wasn't captivating at all. Even 11's role was boring, the same thing, again and again, too many nosebleeds. Steve and Dustin's bromance was funny Haven't watched The Funeral, now that I think of it again, I see how it was mostly focusing on 80's era.

I might be late to the party but I've started watching The Gymkhana Files on Netflix. The first episode is epic! Second one a bit less so but still a lot of entertainment value. Wife won't watch, I don't care.

I started watching Animal Kingdom (a TNT show I think) on Amazon Prime. Not sure how much I like it yet after a few episodes. My wife isn't a fan of it.

For some reason I came across "Comedians in Cars getting Coffee" and have enjoyed a few episodes. Most are only about 15 long. Dave Chapelle is hilarious IRL too! I could hang out with Kathleen Madingly.

They had a 73 2002tii for her!

Just watched all of the Collection 6 today. It's a slow work day.

Funny show, but my wife won't watch. I've seen a few, but I'm still catching up on Kimmy Schmidt.

Great Show!
I ended up getting her to watch a few more episodes and we ended up finishing the first season over the weekend. Definitely like it better than I did at first.

Finished Jessica Jones this weekend. Good, not great. I believe the series is now done.

Tried starting a new series. The wife hated "fleabag". Tried Luther, meh, might try it again tonight.

I watched Fleabag a couple of months back, solid British humor and the story keeps you engaged, loved it.
Also, my girlfriend didn't like it either, something about the female lead character I guess

Don't know if they've been mentioned yet, but "In the Dark" and "Designated Survivor" on Netflix are pretty good IMO.

Interesting.

The Orville is coming back for Season 3. I really liked season 1, and thought season 2 was a very generic (though funnier) version of Star Trek NG. I hope season 3 is better. It'll be fun to watch the chemistry of these 2 former lovebirds....

We finished the first season and started getting into the second. Definitely getting more interesting.
