Grade A prime hot dogs and Hasselback potatoes. My first try at the potatoes, turned out to be pretty fantastic.

D'oh...I had both ready and took the picture with the broccoli with the intention to mixing the cauliflower with the risotto but changed my mind. I will accept a suitable punishment as long as it involves Nutella or Miracle Whip.

Haha! Understandable. There are a couple things at play here. 1- It’s still like a bajillion degrees here, and water is much more refreshing than a heavy beer. 2- Old dogs and new tricks.

First, a real beer. hubbahubba please take note.



Then a gooey and zingy steak and cheese sandwich made with leftovers. It might not look super presentable but by the time it reached my tummy, it all looked the same.

Pan seared chicken breast with fennel and potato

Excellent fennel flavor, accented with fresh thyme, salt and pepper. Cooked in evoo and butter. One boneless skinless breast with one fennel bulb thinly sliced on a mandoline and one small yellow potato similarly sliced. Grapes for dessert.

No pics! Long day at work and was too hungry to make it look pretty.
