Chicken schnitzel. Usual prep: butterfly cut breast, tenderized, brushed with EVOO and dipped in seasoned breading.

Convect roast @375°F for 15 minutes. With mash potatoes and carrots.

Tabbouleh Friday!

Usual ingredients. I went with sumac as the primary seasoning this time, and I overcame my laziness and reached for the pepper grinder rather than using ground pepper. Grilled pita, I need to make a trip for freshly baked Chaldean flatbread!

Takeout ribs from the most awesome BBQ place in our area, with cole slaw and collard greens. Ate three ribs and put the untouched sides and rest of the ribs away for breakfast/lunch tomorrow because Mounjaro for diabetes.....

Steak frites!

One of my favorites. Prime NY strip pan seared in EVOO, butter, fresh thyme and garlic. Frozen (sorry!) fries with S&P and mayo. Grapes for dessert.

Reminds me of steak frites I had in Cannes after a long, winding mountain drive starting in Briançon earlier in the day.

I had a frozen beef pot pie. Keep in mind that my stomach is soooooo shrunk because Mounjaro for diabetes that I get 2-3 portions out of a meal now. This thing might as well have been served in a cupcake tin, and I easily finished it. Talk about shrinkflation!!!!!

We went to Fratellis tonight. I had a bowl of Maryland crab ( no picture ) , mushroom caps with crabmeat , crab cakes and some chocolate cake.

  TJs habanero sauce

Spaghetti all’astice!

Spaghetti with lobster, so good! Part of my campaign to eat more fish.

Sauce similar to the earlier scallops recipe. Garlic and red pepper flakes fried in EVOO, tossed with tomatoes, pasta and some starchy pasta water. Topped with fried breadcrumbs. Fresh mango for dessert!
