In the mean time, I am so used to shooting red-tails, harriers, and other similar sized hawks, that when an eagle comes by it looks like a C-5 in comparison. 600mm was a bit too much for this flyover, but the 5DIV autofocus nailed it...

I don't miss having to "pick my poison" before I even took a shot. All films, particularly color, were a set of significant compromises. Once in the camera, you had to live with their faults.

Too close is a "high class" problem.
