Do you put any sort of "barrier" in the beds to keep the grass on it's side of the border?

A simple "Nice Work." Would have been sufficient. I would think after all of these years, and me being quite amicable with you. That I deserve the same respect.

Had no intention of offending, hence the smiley

I actually asked for your expert opinion on the beds, I can never keep the grass out of mine short of pulling it every week before I mow

When i read the Lacks Social Distancing, I figured the rest was the same.

With regard to keeping grass at bay, it is certainly a challenge. The stone border definitely helps. I still get some stragglers which I pull by hand. Chemicals would effect the flowers.

Finally, a non pornographic definition of edging.

Got tired of dragging sprinklers around, so I calculated out zones with my GPM and made an above ground sprinkler system using in-ground Hunter components on spikes and risers. Able to reuse existing sprinkler heads in multiple zones to cut down on number of items and have them color coded for quick grabs. Still need to spend some time making zone transitions as efficient as possible as well as water measurements so as to not over saturate, but I’m pretty stoked how it all came together! Significantly reduces my watering times.

Tassles on the corn last night!
Jalapenos are getting big
Zucchini were hidden from view, but then I saw these monsters peak out. Too big now for human consumption, but the chickens love them!
No fruit yet on the watermelon ;(
Cactus are sprouting like crazy. We didn't finish the bags we froze last year, and need to start freezing more.
Average 7 eggs a day.

Zombies don't like vegies, right?

Just finished this up a couple weeks ago, my backyard is now completed. Already had a couple good fires, so happy with the way everything turned out.
