I am a finger picker and tried to learn this song as they played it. beyond me I guess. Maybe I should give it another go cause I always loved that song.

An early dinner and wine pairing at Central tonight in Lima, Peru with my wife and another couple.

Simply outstanding. Not much else need be said.

My wife's got the "good" pictures- I'll have to post them later.

Headed for dinner at Maido tomorrow night-- it's ranked as the best restaurant in Latin America for three years running.

Then? Off to Cuscco.

Yes, it's definitely cheaper when cooking it at home. I have 12 pounds of it. Saving 6 pounds for Christmas dinner.

The girlfriend bought some of those. I dig them. I was looking at them yesterday for my car. Mine and hers both go in the shop Monday to be repaired. I'll most likely order some once I have mine back.

My birthday is at the end of the month, it's been a rough year so, I'm justifying some goodies and taking a few days off once I get my car back. Punch list - remote start (birthday present to myself), interior trim wrap, steering wheel wrap, possibly fog lights and maybe a diffuser.

Well, the wife unit says she wants to play piano and I'm not holding her back despite misgivings that she will actually learn. As a musician with a heavy investment in guitars how could I say no to this? It is a Yamaha Clavinova which is a pretty cool digital piano. Keys feel real like a piano and it can do a lot of cool stuff with an iPad attached.

Now that I've been forced to retire by my doctors from motorsports competition and the last of my sponsorship obligations has ended, I have been using my "decal freedom" to amuse myself with custom plate frames on all my vehicles. Way more stuff fits on a plate frame than can be expressed on an 8-character vanity license plate.

The only non-customized frame that I have left is the blue "BMW i-Series" one sold by BMW.....

Most people will only think of one thing when they see that plate, and it won't be about connecting your i3 to the mains for charging.

SMG, with a very recent clutch replacement. The car has an impeccable service history and has been very well taken care of. I made a cash offer that I never thought would fly, but here we are! 😏

The only thing lacking in the history that isn't evident is a rod bearing swap which I will be doing myself very soon.
