I hope this doesn't mean there's something wrong with me.

I was doing the dishes while planning a fishing weekend with a friend. I washed the knifes I had used to filet a fish earlier, put it in the thingy to dry them up, and because I was on the phone, I moved the bloody holder closer to so it would be easier to put fork and knives into it. Next thing I know, the back of my elbow hits the knife, and it actually went pretty damn deep. A neighbor put a belt to keep it from bleeding so much, and off to get yet an other set of stitches caused by stupidity I went.

I'm good with renovations, gardening, hell I used to grow most of our own veggies for fun. The list of the things I can't do is more entertaining.

No Billup, that list means you're pretty fucking cool in my eyes. People who have no skills are the one who should worry

I really don't understand people who can't do basic daily life tasks that are my age, it blows my mind. Kids who can't cook? It's not hard. Being creative with it is the harder part. Can't keep your room/house clean? It doesn't take much effort to keep your place tidy.

I'll admit, sometimes I'm a bit lazy with dishes, but they do get done the same day, if not the max is the next day.

I'm good just been really busy with work lately and traveling. My team is like dealing with a class of children sometimes! I'm planning a trip to Nassau this summer and SEA for a couple of months at the end of the year.

I don't have a garden either. In fact, I don't even know if my backyard has enough room for a garden. about 10 feet from the back door, it goes downward at a 45° into woodsy shit. Makes mowing the lawn a pain in the ass.

Mmmmmmmmm, lasagna! Such a delicious meal. I craves it. Come make me some and we can cuddle up and watch a movie after?

My team here is basically running our operators into the ground, many are quitting and looking for new jobs. Right now we are down $250k in sales this month. Engineering up front barely does their job and put all the stress on us instead.

Meanwhile, all the "important" people in the front of the plant are having a dunk tank and grilling hot dogs and shit. Instead of you know..., focusing on ways to get out of this hole they dug us in.

@Billup, you can easily make a small bed for salad ingredients. Lettuce and spinach are really easy to grow, and a few tomatoes take zero effort either.

Mowing lawn sucks, but the smell is so good afterwards its worth it. I want pics of the garden please!

I would be disappointed if you made better lasagna than I, my ego is very fragile. Since I'm bad at cuddling or letting people close to me too, i think you'd be happier with only my salad growing tips.

I'm definitely going to make a small garden in the backyard next to the house, I've just been overspending lately on interior renovations that I need to start budgeting myself. Garden will come later, and when it does, I will definitely post pictures.

Right now as far as yard work, I am working on growing grass on all the dirt patches the previous owners neglected. Between the cost of a new mower, bags of grass seed, fertilizer, starter fertilizer..., I didn't realize how much all that stuff was. However, it's been about 3 weeks since I did the initial tilling and I'm starting to see grass sprout from the barren spots! Very exciting stuff. Lots of weeds to tackle still, but it's coming along.

I'll be honest, I'm an incredible cook, sooooo it may be up for debate.

Renovating costs a ton, but you wouldn't think of it as your home if you didn't do all that. The best thing about a yard is that it's better when you do it really low budget. Get plants from others and let time work its magic. It is always sad to see a garden clearly done over night. They are missing the feeling of love and they don't ooze life seen.

I miss my gardens. My first one was so tiny and I had no money to put towards building it, so from every run with the dog, I brought back rocks. It turned out epic, with green plants, and tulips stolen from a friend and I was more proud of it than the next ones I had money to invest to. Funny how these things work out.
