The system provides huge incentives for women to behave badly during divorce proceedings particularly when it comes to matters around children. The majority of physical custody decisions go towards the woman. Child support is calculated based on income and more times than not is a detriment to the father. Between not having 50/50 custody by default and a substantial chunk of money being transferred to the mother, fathers get screwed big time. Until family law changes which means having custody decisions start at 50/50 along with auditing of child support costs in determining the actual needs for the child/children being taken care of, men will continue to get screwed. With the above said, there is no incentive for women to behave in a civil manner during a divorce.
I don't disagree with you....but my statement wasn't in regard to how women behave during a divorce. My statement was to call attention to the fact that it isn't beneficial to women to get married, unless building a family, just as it is advantageous for men to get married. I feel like I covered the divorce part with my next to last statement. Trust me, I know all too well how the same person who vowed to honor and cherish, suddenly turns into Black Friday shopping Karens in Wal-Mart if they think they're going to get something out of it.

Unless you are stating that the advantage to a woman getting married lies in the divorce....and for that, I suppose you would be spot on. Sorry, your point hit me after I hit the submit button, had to come back to edit.

Yes. Whether children are involved or not, women have the advantage in a marriage if divorce enters the picture.

It truly is the easiest 15-20 minute out patient surgery. I listened to an iPod playlist and read a bike magazine during that wonderful moment in 2008. Don't fear the testicular reaper.

Im thinking that might just be my 40th birthday present to myself. I hold off just in case I came a woman came along that convinced me otherwise but Im thinking I can just be happy with a puppy, motorcycles and an early retirement in Italy.
Look at it this way, you can still do in-vitro or you can always have it reversed. There are also multiple types of vasectomy procedures. Some clamp/block the vas deferens temporarily; mine was the permanent suture/cut/cauterize vasectomy. There are options for you.

That is exactly my goal, but may retire early at another location.

I have zero desire to get married or settle down. Sex is widely available without commitment. I have a gym routine, zero money problems, hobbies, BT Sport, foreign travel, books, peace, time to teach myself about astronomy and all the cash I earn is mine, all mine! Every single penny!

Can the married man also say the exact same thing with confidence that his wife will not divorce him later down the line? Statistics prove that women initiate divorce the majority of the time and have the upper hand in family court. The risks of marriage outweigh the pros in my honest opinion.

Yes, I am snipped and I get myself checked out every year to be sure that I am shooting blanks. I don't share this information with any of the women I sleep with though. I have lost count how many times women have tried to "trap" me into a relationship by claiming that they are bearing my children. The look on their faces when they see my papers of being sterile is priceless.
Whoa, Where are you meeting these women?

Is MKSixer married now? Is that why I haven't seen him in a while?

It really is easy. But I didn't get no stinking magazine or earbuds. So that sucks.

I had to listen instead to all the clamping noises and tugs down there, the noises were the worst part of the whole procedure which is saying a lot, because really, its a breeze.

Interestingly, I could smell (albeit it very briefly) the smell when they cauterized the upper tubes. Not exactly BBQ, but not completely opposite side of the spectrum either which was a little disturbing.

Interestingly, I had exactly the same experience! (I have four kids so, that was enough for me). The tugging and pulling during the procedure was a little disconcerting as I was wincing while waiting for a sharp pain. But, to my surprise (and relief) that never came!

But the burning smell was a real surprise... Was definitely not expecting that!

I've had it done. Bottled it the first time as I read and heard all the horror stories. Was bricking it when I went to have it done, but it was an absolute breeze.
I think most problems occur when people don't follow the rules and try and get back to normal too quickly. I literally did nothing when I got home and parked myself on the sofa for a couple of days and then gently worked back to normality. Good supportive underwear helps a lot. It really is no big deal - just follow the advice from your doctor.

I've thought about this as well. It makes me cringe. Also makes me appreciate that my girlfriend has never been on a dating app. Phew...

I've met quite a few women on dating apps, not all were crazy. Most are the same people you meet at the gym, work, bar, through friends, etc, just a different way of meeting them. It would be silly to think a woman hasn't been with a bunch of guys because she has never been on an app.

As much as online dating is a shit show, I'd be severely limited by trying to meet people otherwise. This is due to my demanding job and all the time I spend doing other things, not to mention the limited pool of potential women I would have. Like anything else, it's a tool that only benefits you if used correctly.

If I can’t/couldn’t charm someone in person I don’t want that work. There is correlation between offline and online profile, but most valuable human interaction requires verbal AND non verbal communication in the flesh. Not calculated responses.
