I envy you in the hill country. I just took my baby down to Fredericksburg, down to San Antonio, back up to Bastrop via the superspeedway toll road over near CotA, across to Marble Falls north of Lake Travis, and then back up to Roanoke near TMS. Nearly all of it was done via back roads and they are amazing! If you haven't driven 1431 over to Marble Falls, do it. The M3 handled all of the twisties beautifully and had absolutely no issues for the entire 800 miles. 300 more miles until my service and I can really open her up!

I know. And they install shit tints. Are you leasing the car or do you plan on keeping the car for years, like me? If you want the best quality tint, this is the one.
http://www.suntekfilms.com/automotiv...utomotive.aspx If you don't care and are getting rid of it soon then Sun Tints are fine. I learned a lot on this forum, this is just one of the things that I learned. Also, did you know you can get a clear tint for your windshield, thus eliminating the need for the fold out windshield shades? Suntek makes those as well and LAW installs them. Amazing results for something like that, 90% UV and heat blockage. Lord knows we need this in Texas.

Sun Tint is a good place. They did my wife's Tesla (tint and clear shield) and have installed film on commercial buildings we were involved with. Their prices are also middle of the road. They don't really do custom PPF with wrapped edges (not templates) however, but it's hard to notice on darker colors.
Last year they installed Suntek. We have clear on the windshield. They're not shit.

Here are some pictures with the reflectors and grills swapped. Ceramic tint 20% rear, 30% front, 90% windshield with 20% eyebrow. 12mm spacers all the way around.
The rear diffuser has been painted gloss black today.

Spacers push the wheels out of the fenders a little, plus on the track they would allow a more planted drive, increasing the Gs by a little (probably by 0.01, so its negligible). Mostly just for looks. And I completely forgot to mention that I installed the V1 with a concealed display via Savvy connection.

Thanks for all the info. About the spacers, were they hard to install? I see you have a jack there in one of your pictures did you do that yourself?

Jack the car up. Take off the wheel Put on the spacer Put on the wheel Attach the new lug nuts (that came with the spacers) Lower the car Easy as that. I have several bikes, so I have pretty much every tool needed for working on them.

BADASS!!! I am actually in Austin today and tomorrow. I took the M3 out for a spin today and loved it! Very nice for being 100% stock. I only wish that I did not have to wait a few more months to take delivery! I'm super envious of you fellas!

V1 is mounted to the right of the rear view mirror. Concealed display is mounted to the left of the gauges (on the dash by the windshield). Savvy plugs in the OBD2 port (in the foot well (above the dead pedal). Savvy has two plugs. One wire goes to V1 and the other to the concealed display. The wires get tucked along the seals. The whole process took 10 minutes and is a true plug-n-play. No splicing required and can be removed very fast too.
