Apple iPhone 12

I currently have an iPhone X and I plan to upgrade to 12. I really hope the upgrade will be worth it. But before that, I will purchase first and Optima d34m https://bestmarinebatteries.com/best...a-d34m-review/ which I really need as of the moment. I think the iPhone would be next in line.

When was the last time you cleaned it? When my charging starts to have issues, I get out my dental pick, used toothbrush, and a bit of rubbing alcohol. Even with a case, those ports can get full of pocket lint and other unmentionables.

Same, I have an Xs and will eventually upgrade to a 12 or 12plus. My upgrade isn't due till next March, so I'll take it easy. Maybe still hold onto the Xs for a few months, just to see what kinks they get worked out of this 1st gen.

I tried cleaning it with a toothpick and used a computer duster liberally. I could try again, but I'm already looking forward to my new phone lol

I keep going back and forth. I have an X and if they give me $450 for it then it might be worth it, but otherwise my phone is running perfectly and I really don't have a reason to upgrade it.

Having to wear a mask is the second reason why I miss the fingerprint ID.
I still miss my 5S. IMO, 5S was the best iPhone Apple ever made. Extremely durable, comfortable size and just looks and feels expensive; flushed camera lens and chamfer edges to boot.

I completed my pre order this morning, I have an X 256GB. Bought it on pre order and paid more than I did for this one... go figure.

Anyway, they gave me 415 and I wasnt going to bicker over a few bucks as selling it on the open market seems to yield about 450-500. Hope this helps

Im using a 3 year old pixel 2XL and probably going to make the switch to iphone.

Thinking about the 256gb pro model, but do you guys think 512gb may be necessary? Not sure if LIDAR is going to result in bigger photo file sizes, etc...

It depends on your current usage. A good measure is to see on your current phone how your storage is allocated and retained.

For bigger photos the LiDAR won't make the difference, more so the Live Photos and 4k60fps video would saturate storage.

If you are thinking about it, you should make the upgrade.

thanks! I'm only utilizing 60% of the 64gb on the android but android's OS is smaller in size than apples iirc. Guess it doesn't hurt to have more space.

Apple has a program to buy back your old phone. My 11 Pro Max is worth $500 if I were to upgrade, which is not happening at this point but I checked out the Apple page just for fun.

I have XS Max and really don't see the benefit of upgrading. The 5G doesn't seem to be ready for the prime (spotty coverage, slow speeds, not needed for any apps), plus with Corona I am mostly staying home and can use my 1GB connection.

When I was younger I would upgrade every year, but the "new" features are really minor at this point.

I pay for my phones in full as I travel frequently and like to have them unlocked. I paid ~1200 for XS and the current trade in value is 370...

Apple website prices out that the X for trade in at only $250... are you getting another $150 from a carrier? I only buy sim free unlocked phones.

I went with the 128gb iphone 11 and have tons of pics videos and music downloaded i currently have 79gb used but i dont feel likw i’m close to running out of space for what i need. Unless youre taking tons of 4k videos i dont think you’ll need 512gb

So I am getting the 12 128g and it was only $50 down and it will be $13 per month (which I will probably just pay off). Not a bad deal, probably the best I was gonna find. I was not really going to upgrade right now but I don't thing it will ever be this good again, unless I wanted to switch providers, which I don't.

I have exact same phone as you and also with Tmobile. It is $13 for how long though? Just curious. I’m not planning on upgrading unless it’s a really good deal. In this case it seems like I would still be spending $700 after trade in for a 256gb iPhone 12 Pro. Still too expensive.
