Every time I start to feel the 8-5 grind and repetitiveness of life start to bear down on me, I just look at my idiot friends\colleagues who are married with children who bitch constantly about their lives and their kids and their marriage and lack of time and lack of money...I take a deep breath, thank God I was smart enough not to make those choices myself, think about my GF who shares my views, go look at my car (whatever that may be at the time) or take it for a quick spin, and realize I have such a great life with nothing really to complain about. This routine always makes me, genuinely, smile.

Um. If I read your posts (as in I remember your handle correctly) correctly, I'd say you do what I do. At best I can say I bring in 10% of the monthly money, but since I am the one who has the knowledge of how little I bring in, I bring in the savings too. If I do remember correctly, and you're a student now, I'd say you're investing in the future. That's the bad part of marriage. At some point we are not the ones bringing it all in, but we contribute then too. To be honest, a month ago in the usa I was bored out of my mind most of the days. Now I'm everywhere again and I love life again. Being home and kids ad studying is hard (done that). You get so much out of just as a time management exercise you will end up being like me. Assume million posts.

Her name was Ferrasol. Somewhere...somewhere in time's own space There must be some sweet pastured place Where creeks sing on and tall trees grow Some Paradise where horses go. For by the love that guides my pen I know great horses live again. |

Aww.
My favorite horse of all times was called Ukkonen (Thunder). A beauty. I loved her. Me on her, and her on my plate. I love horses.

This is what happens when you're ungrateful and whining about your job? Horse thread is the punishment? lol

I checked. My favorite restaurant that had the favorite horse breed had stopped ordering them since they stopped producing quality over quantity.
It's like snails and cows again for me.

Not to offend anyone but I'll add some of my own insight on "horse" people since the thread went this way...
Every and I mean every single woman that I have ever meet that had an interest in horses has been "off" and I don't mean slightly off but "batshit off"... next in line was anyone who can be classified as a "cat lady". |
