Well that’s really a false equivalency because AIDS can be avoided and Covid can’t. Everyone’s going to get it. Vaccinated or not. Well not everyone but probably 80 to 90% of human beings get any new novel virus.

Glad I consulted my regular physician for medical advice prior to getting the COVID vaccine. As I didn't go to medical school.
Got them shots and good to go.

This is inaccurate. They didn't just develop these vaccines, you know that, right?

2002. In the least. Sars is Covid. So is h1n1. They've been working on these particular vaccines since then, just took a backseat as other things were far more urgent. All they did was halt everything else once Covid-19 hit and direct all resources to the current vaccines. Also, they've been studying coronaviruses for over 50 years already. On top of that, as technology increases each year, the genome sequencing for Covid-19 took TEN days.

Big difference than implying that it was all done in a year or so. That's not what happened.

I have a personal friend that works at the FDA who is a virologist and I think immunology expert. I asked her about this very thing and she said the same as you. She said the difference this time was all the money that was poured into the vaccine for Covid-19 this time around. She believed in the vaccines enough that she subjected herself to the clinical trials that were going on before the vaccine was authorized for public use.

don't you think its weird that Congress is exempt from the vaccine mandate? I'm pretty sure that immediately sows doubt for the people who are paying attention.

I never take the flu shot and I don't even remember the last time I was sick.

BTW:: I'm vaccinated, but only because my work required me. Otherwise...I honestly don't think I would've taken it. :/
