This is one of the most stunning examples I ever saw. It was for sale for $20k back in 2003. I was about to sell my spleen to raise the cash.

But really funny because no one wants to hear it. It's like telling someone who wants to lose weight that they have to eat less. They either just completely ignore that fact or change the subject. lol And you're right, all you need is one hand on the throttle as fast as you can. That's what it's all about. Would be much easier for you now that they have GPS in your phone or on a watch. I actually had to tape a brick sized hand held GPS running off of 6 AA batteries.

Asheville is sooo beautiful! years ago when bmw reintroduced the 6er, they awarded you a program called the 6 series driving experience, down at the PDC. We got a day of training and track time, then a second day of driving through the mountains. We stayed at the Grove Park Inn, what a beautiful place in Asheville, and not bad when everything is on BMW and you're treated like vip!

That's not really fair. Landing speed in the F4 was 160mph. Fastest I was in the F4 was Mach 2.2 (1,600mph +) which was as fast as it would go.

Topped out a GSX-R750 at 178mph years ago when I was into bikes. I remember the air was eerily calm and peaceful at that speed. It was pretty uneventful really.
On the contrary, I more vividly remember fearing for my life as a buddy and I topped out his '89 Civic hatchback at 86mph on some backroad. The entire car shook as the engine screamed bouncing off of its rev limiter lol That said, OP I believe the method of transportation makes all the difference at those kinds of speeds! |

Was in Oklahoma driving a GTR coworkers in a V10 R8, 458 and MP12-4c. I bailed out somewhere between 170 and 180 while they kept going. All you could here was hundreds of little rocks kicking up. If the engines were not whining out bet the sound of the wind would be scary. Honestly it's surreal. The faster you go the more you feel the stability from the down force and gyroscopic force of the wheels and so on. At that same time it's fragile. It's fun but there are better sensations in a car.

180 in my Viper. The problem with that car was you couldn't tell you were going so fast. On a freeway on ramp you would lay into and look down at the speedo. I'd be at 120 and still in third gear.

130 in the M3, at the track. As a passenger, 160 in a SC E92 M3 and 180 in a GTR.
I need to buy an F4. Favorite plane as a child. <3 |
