Here a few things were currently feeling at the moment.
1. PAIN 2. Betrayal 3. Getting struck down by E-thugs 4. Deception from other users who mean "good" Yes it is funny. You can stop laughing I know.... |

Honestly, I don't like it. The majority of the sub-forums are still ok, but I have a sneaking suspicion the people from the main site will be trickling their way down to the 1-specific forums and, well, there was a reason I never posted on e90post before.
I guess it is more a personality thing. I just don't find forums like e90post and others worth going to every day. I just found 1-addicts to be a more mature crowd than 99% of the rest of the internet. That is why I posted there. I hope it stays that way. If it degrades, I'll stop posting regularly and start coming here just when I need help with something. I have a feeling a LOT of people will be doing that. |

Oh, I've gotten plenty wet. Just no fatal shark bites. I got bruises galore from some other forums where posting can be like walking a minefield ("There be trolls yonder!") 1Addicts has just always seemed populated by cooler heads.

This is my first visit to this forum and I wanted to check it out. I live in Manhattan and I see lots of 3 series but not too many 1 series here.
In any case welcome to E90 post to all of you 1 series owners. There are a lot of knowlegable people here and there is a lot of valuable information on these forums. Unfortunately there is also a lot of immaturity exhibited here. You have to learn to tune out the "My car is better thatn your car" crap and consider the source particulary when the cars the posters are bragging about in many cases are very likely imaginary. CA

also the new off-topic forum members are mostly trolls, I do not like the merger at all, the old mods would ban half the members there so the rest of us don't have to deal with them I still miss my username, the party line was they merged with us, but reality is we were put into the e90 forum database, so our old thread bookmarks got destroyed, and usernames like mine were changed because somebody on e90 forum had it already I wish the forums were completely separate, like the mini forum is

I too miss the old mods. The trolls are a pain, and the mods are so slow to respond. And TJ is back, how does that happen? Hasn't he been banned from all the BMW forums yet? |

that's really not a bad idea... i'm getting tired of this place. just seems that it's not mod'ed well enough anymore, and just frustrating to read. which is disappointing, since this is where i used to rely on for good information about the car...
