Alex here as I promised , the update from last weekend of my father..
He is still in the intensive care and the recovery process goes slow..
But there is improvement because he eats and drinks a little bit , and that's always a good sign .
I went today twice to the hospital and this evening he said to me I'm really glad to see you , because last week I didn't saw you...while I was everyday with him in the hospital .
So I think everything from last week is gone..and the reason why is probably the morfine , I'm glad they took the morfine off from yesterday and so his memory can work back in a normal level .
But it seems like the prayers are working because there is improvement .

Don't know where to start , but I promised to update this thread ..
Don't know if this are the right words to do it...because I never did something like this before..

I had this evening at work that horrible phone call from the hospital..
My father lost his fight and died .

Went to the hospital and saw my father and it was like ..he was sleeping , and I stayed one hour with him.
I just came back home (1-AM) and cannot sleep .
My poor mother....May she find the necessary strength to handle this terrible situation .

My special thanks goes to Bimmerpost and certainly to all the people and friends in this thread for the concern and support (I told my father also about this thread and all the concern for him)

My father's first name was "Lucien" and may my father's soul rest in peace .

Oh Philippe, so sorry to hear this. It is not easy losing your father, I lost mine back in Oct 2014. I will continue to keep you and your family in my thoughts!

Sorry to hear that. Things will get better for you, and quicker than you think. I lost my dad to cancer not that long ago but now I only remember the good things with great fondness and affection. I never even think about when we clashed or what that was even ever about. Best wishes...
