I follow replicas closely, gives me more confidence buying preowned, and a better appreciation for the real thing. There are several tells on this watch.

If you buy from a reputable source there are generally no questions..

Older PAM reps are easy, crown is a little skinny and too close to the case, the crown guard is skinny as well, cg pin insn't right. PANERAI and LUMINOR MARINA font's are the biggest tell on this version, way to thin. Only thing i can see is the "L" next to swiss looks off, but it could just be the picture.

Very interesting. Not a fan of Panerai so wouldn't have ever known the difference. Of course no disrespect to the owner.
