I think it looks alright with those wheels on it but I hate the rear and the new hood design I won’t be getting one in the future my favorite newer Porsche is a 997.1-997.2 I think it’s the best looking it’s the in between the transfer of the old 90s to the 2012 best looking by far to me I’d have to see the new one In person though it might look better in person everything does I bought a gt350r in the lead grey and absolutely ruled it out getting it in that color and went to see it in person now it’s the best color on the car and bought it.
People think the new 992 looks like the 993 I don’t think so it might in some ways but the hood is to far the line should be further up in my opinion the hood goes over the front bumper line I don’t like that I also don’t think Porsche should change body styles or do facelifts so often I felt like the new Porsche 911’s just came out I was just at dealer buying my 991.2 the new standard turbos now we got 2020 Porsche 911’s coming out looking like the taycan on the taycan it looks good but not on the 911. This is the new 996 I’m sure they will fix it in the next gen which shouldn’t be to long Last edited by Alpine_F82; 12-06-2018 at 11:08 AM.. |

Personally, the 911 should be performance oriented rather than luxury, but each person is different. The more troubling issue - Every new iteration adds so much weight. A 992 is going to be 120lbs heavier again, after the 991.2 already gained weight from the 991.1. |

I think I've finally warmed up to its looks. Like I said earlier, get it in manual so you don't have to see that stupid shifter.
Anyone who likes the 991.2 will see this as a quantum leap forward and will love it. I might be sold enough to look at the GT3 version. |

Not a fan AT ALL. That's why I jumped on the last of the new 991.2s.
992: Rear, über ugly (third brake light, barf). Front, ugly. Door handles, awful. Interior, blechhh. A PDK that can only be shifted manually with paddles, OMG. Upsizing, sheesh!

Agreed, I do however like that all models now come with the factory widebody. What were they thinking with the terrible third brake light? I would argue that the last great looking and driving 911 was the 997.2. But that's because I prefer NA engines and hydraulic power steering. |

Agreed. Full width tails and lower plate helps a lot. Labia light isn't that bad.
