Was going to get a pick up at my favorite Pizza place (Gabriel) but at -26°C (-14.8°F) a beef up (Tomato, Mozzarella Cheese and Bacon Bits) frozen Giuseppe Pizzeria Thin Crust Deluxe Pizza is just almost just as good.

Not quite dinner time. Preparing my Riesling Onion Soup base.

1... Caramelizing the onions in lots of butter.
2... Then adding the chicken broth, chicken stock and wine.
3... Later, I'll scoop some in an oven proof bowl, add the garlic croutons and top with Provolone, Parmesan and old Cheddar. Then bake for a few minutes until the cheese is melted.
