Ah I totally forgot about Calguns. The forums is sometimes so laggy and buggy that I just stopped going there. Initially the plan was to just swap the trigger and keep the rest of it stock but it spiraled out of control. The slide is at the gunsmith to get a comp pin and welded at the moment.

Technically not a firearm unless you are the ATF, but I picked up my first suppressor today, Surefire RC2 5.56. Took almost 6 months for approval. This thing is gorgeous and is built like a tank. Excuse the obligatory fleshlight shot, lol

I just ordered myself a BANISH 30 suppressor from Silencer Central. I’m putting it in an NFA Trust as well.

Agreed! Plus, when I was a CA resident, I was barred from getting the good stuff most of the country could get despite being employed in law enforcement. Moving to NV opened up a whole new world.

Got to be careful with the FA stuff. It can become expensive and addictive.

My new Bodyguard 2.0 was not stellar on it's first range trip. Slide never locks back w/the 10 round mag and had 3 failure to feed the next round.

I contacted S&W on Sunday. Nothing yet.

On another note, I'm finally going to try 300 Blackout. I can run my Obsidian9 can on it. I have everything but a barrel and the ammo. Ammo was ordered today. I'll wait to see if any stellar labor day sales on a barrel come up unless a used deal pops up. Going to go 8" or 9" barrel. Something cheap like a Ballistic Advantage is fine to see if I want to dive into this new caliber more.

My Extar EP9 was delivered to the FFL today. Hope they call me tomorrow.

I rock a FAXON 300 BLK barrel. Well worth it. The quality is stellar.

Have a BA barrel on the way. If I like it, I can always upgrade to a better barrel later if need be.

I do fun a Faxon Gunner on my SBR, though.

The AERO/BA stuff is nice, especially for the price. AERO/BA lowers are great too; arguably better quality than some of my expensive lowers.

I had a horrible CS experience with Aero on a defective (or maybe they just build them poorly) handguard. Never buying their stuff again.
