Hey guys, random Q about online dating: On coffee meets bagel and on bumble I get notifications on my phone that people are matching a couple times a day. I tap on the notification and there are no matches in the app. Anyone else have this problem? FWIW I do get matches on other platforms.

Either people are un-matching immediately after, or what is more likely is they are fake spam accounts that are deleted shortly after. There are a TON of spam accounts on dating apps, Tinder is the worst.

Oh I'm no longer on it, for the above mentioned reason, way too many spam profiles.

I agree on the fish, and I never realized so many people did that until a friend showed me how many guys she matched with had fish pics. I go fishing once in a blue moon, but I can honestly say I've never even taken a pic holding one so I don't see why so many do.

Mirror selfies seem to be another turn off.

Confession, a bit. My wife and I are a polyamorous couple. So I've tried Tinder, for example. Mirror selfies EVERYWHERE... So much narcissistic sounding crap on there too. Wife showed me some guys and holy crap. Fish and deer pictures EVERYWHERE. The messages some send are just creeptastic too... They'll look like normal people, even down to their personal blurb, but then SO YOU WANT SOME OF THIS, HUH COME SU.... yeah. Classy, bro. I mean I'm not proof of this but she does have standards lol

Mine was fully clothed with under armour gym clothes on, but I think the shirtless gym mirror selfies are a bit much. Never understood the dead animal thing either. Posing with a dead deer you just shot seems pretty strange.

There should be another app just for couples (maybe there is?). Seems like there are so many different couples on all the apps and it's annoying as fuck.

The condescending shit always makes me laugh. My favorites are the single moms who have "if you can't handle the fact that I have kids you aren't a real man" in their bio. Like do you really think being abrasive right off the bat will attract worthwhile people?

Exactly. I was like the only full body photos I have (with my new body) are with group pictures, I need to post a full body pic of just me so guys know which chick I am lol.
