Honestly? I like it but it's not top five to me. Little too flowery and no real notes of toffee or butterscotch like I really like.

Certainly enjoyable but I like quite a few others better.

If you like the Toffee/Butterscotch, give Bunnahabain a try. It's an Islay Scotch, but unpeated.

Presently enjoying a Signatory bottling of the Bunna, bottled at 60% abv, and remembering why I like this distillery so much.

I've never had an Islay I liked. Hate the peat. Will look at that one.

Love those cask strengths. Really brings out the flavor. I'm drinking a glenlevit naturra cask strength at 60% right now. Very good.

Finished a bunch of bottles at the same time so had to do a bit of a spree as of late. Plus 10% off all bottles over $100 at the local shop. Grabbed another cask strength. Let's see how she does.

Had a small pour this afternoon. Loved it. Had a speyside taste, very floral like Macallan, but the nose was very toffee and butterscotch, my favorites. This is certainly one of my favorites now.

I know what you mean, it took me a long time to get there. Have you tried Talisker? I love it, kind of salty.....it's like potato chips, you can't have just one.

A few of the local liquor stores hold raffles every year for the opportunity to buy a few rare bottles. This bottle was one of my few wins.

I love potato chips and I have a bottle of Talisker Storm. There is no way the Talisker tastes like chips. It actually tastes terrible to me. I give it to friends who like strong, peaty, finishes. Yuck.
