Didn't watch either of them live but man those recaps, can't believe that those teams lost like that, esp the Lions. Also, those players never learn, show off *after* the game, not during as nothing's guaranteed smh.

Yep, this is what he does. He's Dan Gampbell. We discussed this several pages back when the Lions lost to the Cowboys in the regular season because of stupid decisions. There's being aggressive and then there's this foolishness. This type of coaching will be what ultimately gets him fired.

I don't really watch the games, but does Dan Campbell go for it all the time on 4th downs? What's the %age like or do they not employ a punter? LOL. Also, does that guy have a compulsive disorder like a gambler or something...I really don't get not going for the FG when it's an option.

I'm not taking anything away from the talent of the players and coach, that would be foolish. However... I'm a numbers guy and the sheer amount of profits pumped into the NFL by Swift is completely unheard of in a season. In other words, a money train is hard to stop or won't be stopped. IJS

He's one of the most aggressive NFL coaches and goes for it often on 4th down. Matt LaFleur was in a similar situation last week against my Niners and he also went for it on 4th/goal instead of taking the points.

I don't believe she or her brand is involved directly.
I believe there is some incentive for the Chiefs to reach and Win the SUPERBOWL due to her $$$$$ impact.
In fact, I will be betting that they will.

I'm wondering....if you think it's rigged because of the money, then why aren't the Cowboys "installed" in the Super Bowl every year. The Cowboys are as you point out the most valuable team by far and they have the largest fan base, you know "America's Team" and all. I was at the '94 Super Bowl, 49ers vs Chargers. Mike Shanahan was the OC for the Niners, and Ed McCaffrey was a bench-warming wide receiver for the Niners, before going on to have a pretty decent career with the Giants and Donkeys. We sat directly behind Shanahan's family, including his trophy wife and teenage son & daughter - that son being Kyle, who of course is now the 49ers coach. Trivia: The point spread for that game was shocking - you'll never see another SB spread like this, and probably not even in the regular season. 49ers were favored by 19.5 points, and covered easily, winning 49-26, and it wasn't that close.

To me this year's game should be a pick 'em. We'll see if/how the line irons out by game time, but the Niners continue to be favored by 2 - 2.5 points. One way or another it shapes up to be a great contest.
