let's see i make 5 bucks an hour at mc-flip-a-burger so my monthly income would be barely enough to keep gas in my 335i? and i work overtime cuz my car demands nothing less than premium 92 octane...

BTW, you can gross less than 50K and still take home 36K if you are single and have no state income tax.

Its actually well above the median income in the US. I'd expect somewhere around 60-65% of Americans earn less.

But not really worth bragging about.

No it also depends on what state you live. Here in California you can barely rent a ROOM for $600/month. In some state a ballin apartment can be had for that much. 36k a year take home isn't bad in some states.

My M3 represents about 10% of my gross monthly income.

Too bad taxes represent about 50% of it. /MEGAfacepalm

My 335 is around 15% of my base salary monthly income. Bonuses FTW!

But then again, when they take 43% of my bonuses as taxes FTL.

Wow, I didn't know that they tax your bonuses. I guess the government has to stick their fingers in everything...

I wish my company would give me a bonus...the closest thing to a bonus I get is to go home an hour early on Christmas Eve.

That's a little more than sticking fingers in it. That's like putting fingers in it, flinging it around a little bit, massaging it, and then giving it back abused. 43 fucking %.

Yeah 43% is pretty rough. Taxes suck, they take so much from you. What pissed me off this year, was when I filed my taxes, I got back $1100 less than I did last year. Nothing really changed either that's why I'm so clueless why I got back so much less.

if you work for the gov like the UN do you need to pay taxes? just curious because my dad works there and he also doesn't get tax returns. Just curious because he always avoids answering question due to something he signed lol

Since when do bonuses count as base salary?

Don't feel bad about the taxes, my last bonus was taxed at 49%
