Not as ugly as the last pic of the x7 shown around here, but I hate this whole segment. It combines a horrid blend of atrocious aesthetics, betrayal of the 'ultimate driving machine' ethos, and the safety concerns of arming that many soccer moms and walter mitty dads (and their affluenzate teens) with a 3-ton (4-ton?) rocket that will do 90 in less than a city block.

I don't see the point in an X7 particularly, but then I further struggle to see why you would then want to put coupe styling on it?

I think Clarkson summed up the X6 well when he described it as large dog taking a dump. I guess this will one will look like a wolf coiling-out dog toffee.

The X8 is inevitable.

Mmmm. Not quite.

The iPhone X is smaller than what it replaces. And it's faster but uses about the same amount of energy. And it weighs about the same ...

Sincerely,
- he who is waiting for the iPhone XXX boyeeeeeeee

An X8 would fit the luxury SUV-brand Bayern Motoren Werke perfectly.
And allow a range of models from next years X5 to next decades more prominent luxury models. And not forgetting the Luxury SUV/Sport SUV is the fastest growing segment in the luxury market.
