I think it's because Ramadan starts on the Sunday of Saudi Arabian GP, so they moved that back a day. And there's a rule in place that states there has to be 7 days between GPs

That's correct and in a way good as it leaves Sunday free for other things.

Well it's official now. I was able to go onto Hulu and mark all the practices and the pre race and race for recording. The season is now officially here.

Agreed. Max looks relaxed. Let’s hope the new RB chassis delivers. I’m thinking a savvy team such as RB probably sand bagged a little (or a lot) during testing. It might explain Max’s cool and relaxed attitude. He ‘knows’ something. I wouldn’t be surprised if Max in the new chassis finds a second per lap or more we didn’t see in testing. I don’t have a way to watch the race but will see the highlights later on YouTube. I dumped my cable TV years ago due to all the fake news. So only got the interweb nowadays. From what I recall that track has a rough and undulating surface. It means having porpoising under control will be paramount so the driver can keep his foot in it. And at the end Kelly will be waiting for him.

I'm pretty sure , Kelly won't really cook big dinners . She's good at other things

We know what both are +/- worth . That's why other people/personnel will cook for them in the Monaco kitchen.

I only say that because MAX has had food poisoning (more than once?) when food was cooked for him by other people in all sorts of places. The novelty of going out to flashy restaurants being here and there and being seen in the top places will soon wear off and I think he'll be better off with a good fresh cooked tv dinner with his partner.
Over here the thinking is a 'theatre evening with a booked restaurant' before the show, lazy brits could have a healthy earlier meal at home then go straight to the show.

There's no doubt the SF24 is quicker than last years' frankly useless car, with Fred more pleased he's landed LEW for next year than the car itself now heheh

It's just under 20C there so a comfortable temp for everyone.

20 minutes to go and it's RIC on top in the Boss Visa RB on softs, the temp seems to be dropping a bit heading for 19C.

Right, both LEW and MAX were experiencing gearbox up-shift jumping in their cars and mechanics are doing the necessary adjustments before FP2 in about an hour.

MAX's gearbox improved after some quick work on it with less jumping but I think it needs further checking or more likely they are sandbagging
