he had the fastest car but he couldn't overtake George Russell

he was kinda faster than Max at the end only because he had fresher softs and Max's softs were gone

That's about the gist of it, with whatever strat McLaren used it was covered by RB and timed to a tee with the papaya team running out of time when it mattered at the end.
Upgrades are due any moment on the RB 20 as the front suspension is reworked to work compliantly to their needs.

Interesting graph that I've never seen before...

Interesting to see in graph form how damn consistent Max is... he clearly had 3 modes, most of the other drivers had much more spread out lap times.

By the numbers, Perez is the better driver. Latifi managed a whopping 9 points in his short career. Stroll, 285 points, 3 podiums, 1 pole, no wins. Perez 1597 points, 39 podiums, 3 poles, and 6 wins.

A good amount of Perez's points/wins came while he was in the RB, but not all. He did well at Racing Point/Force India.
