Dress Shoes

I absolutely love my AE's, I also have a couple pair of Ecco's. I have some FRYE boots for casual and I may give them a shot for dressy next time as well.

The AE's are fantastic, they did require a fair amount of breakin to get comfy. I got stuck in them for two days including what amounted to a lockin at Denver International, in what was supposed to be a one day trip. I wore them hours, walked a ton through the airport, after that they were great.

Park avenues are classic, never going out of style, they look great and are built well.

I have many pairs of allen edmonds! The only shoe I wear other than my beater winter shoes. Once you get a pair you realize how poorly made every other shoe is, even shoes in the same price range as AEs.

UPDATE - I now own three pairs.....two Carlyle Plain Toe (Black and Walnut) and one pair of the new Hopkinson Cap Toe's (Merlot). You guys were right, these shoes make every other dress shoe I have owned feel like cheap crap. Regarding the Hopkinson's, they took virtually no break in. It is a softer leather than the Carlyle's and worth the increased cost. Try them out if you are so inclined.

I wear Vans as dress shoes. Go perfect with slacks. Can't stand dress shoes lol.

If I have to I'll wear drivers loafers. Funny thing I my whole life said why the hell would a guy wear uggs?! Wife bought me ugg loafers and they are nice and toasty inside lol
