The wolf man has already said he doesn't care if he replaces PU's every race to make his jalopies go a bit quicker, his woman boss in Stuttgart must be over the moon with that or is she still asleep

RB's quick out of the box while the others play catch up, and only the one final practice. It's looking good so far.

So it's Max on top and Charlie jumped Checo for second before the flag came down, the quali is next coming at 2PM GMT for the grid positions for Sunday's main race.

Well, the new format did liven up FP1, which makes sense.
But I took a day off because yesterday was a bank holiday where I live to create a long weekend, but with this format in normal situations you're missing qualifying when you have a normal work schedule....

5 minutes to go in Q2 and so many changes on who's quickest, Checo with Max have regained the QT so far, it's 19.4C at he track so not hot at all.

Both Ferrari and McLaren found some pace over the break, McLaren was especially surprising.
I don’t see Charles holding off either RBs over long laps but good to see they clawed back some time.

Max on second with Checo third and all the cars I believe go into parc ferme now so can't be touched by the teams for any adjustments.

Not a fan of this rule, parc ferme should be enacted at the end of the second day’s last session where quali would normally be. One opportunity to adjust on the first day is not enough.
