another win for Lewis in a slower car just like he ​did in the past many times.. this shows again and again he s just not the car..

Bottas was nowhere all race in the very same car.. grats for Lewis and appreciate for the emotions Lewis brings us through TV.. they were very special laps up there!

it was looking hopeless right after Lewis went wide but he managed to put things together back again drove like he shows why he has 7 championships.. epic race.. i was so nervous in last 4-5 laps and had the same reaction just like Toto did at the end..

so with the same approach Perez was sabotaged today.. even twice.. a broken car and a slow pitstop.. but he wasnt.. its racing..
well done to Perez.. he finished the highest place he could able to realistically..

Max was looking so strong all weekend considering he took the pole by more than 0.3s.. but i guess he got a message directly to his heart that Lewis is one of the best in history straight away.. right at the fighting ground.. even while talking he struggled.. i guess he ll mature further after this race.. well done to RB as well..

McLarens.. i was waiting for this race more than a year and predicted such performance from them long ago.. Norris was looking superior over Ricciardo which is pretty cool.. such a talented young man he is.. i believe McLaren will be better in different tracks than here..

Leclerc.. such a great battle he had with Norris.. top-notch driving both from Lec and Nor .. outperforming his car.. well done!

Mazepin.. he ll cause some problems this year i believe..

actually even i never been a Vettel fan.. i felt sorry for him today.. penalty for ignoring double yellows in quali causing penalty and that crash he had.. it was all his fault.. even said Ocon was moving.. wow.. Vettel was moving.. not looking faster than Stroll and its really not good for him.. he still have some fire inside but i guess this will be his last season..

for what i see after first race..

Merc' is slower for sure but they ll be better in other tracks along with McLaren.. RB had a positive vibe before the race.. its been hit now but they wont give up surely..

PS: while Horner was celebrating when Max overtook Lewis from outside of the track.. Newey wasnt.. i guess he knew it wasnt legit right after that moment past..

superb way to start a new F1 year!!

Vettel's struggle continues and it is getting embarrassing. Stroll destroyed him all weekend. I feel really sorry for Seb cause he is such a nice guy.

yeah.. though Max let Lewis by after few corners and even they said he gave the position back at the wrong part i dont think so.. he was slightly off the throttle on the straight and he was right behind Lewis at the of the straight.. which gave him a chance to take the DRS at the main straight again..

What an excellent race!
Lewis did a great job holding off Max & taking the first win of the season. Normal service resumed

Amusing to hear Max saying he should have taken a 5 sec penalty rather than let Lewis past for his illegal overtake as he would have made the time up...

Never the less Lewis & Max both proved that they are the class of the field

The smarter option probably would have been to go full throttle and run away from Lewis. Build a > 5 s. lead at the checkered flag. And take a 5 s. penalty after the race.

Lewis on tires 10 laps older than Max in a car with the above speed differential.

scHAM didn't win the race, RB & MAX lost it with their strategy and bad race craft. RB should have pulled MAX in right after scHAM and MAX should have been more patient. RB have no one to blame but themselves! Kinda reminds me of Ferrari. I've always said do what MB does because they are smarter than you

actually as far as i know RB wont able to do it anyway..

not obeying track limits penalty and overtaking off track is not the same thing.. Max had to give away the position.. just like cutting a chicane and overtaking.. you cant hold that position.. if rules not change unless you give the position back, it means 10sec stop and go or DQ from the race by black flag after white and black flag if ignored still..

Exactly.

This is not the temperament of a WDC driver. Contrast this drive by Max with Lewis in Hungary, 2019. Lewis set Max up and passed him when the Merc was strongest and the RB weakest after hunting him down for 16 laps. If Max were patient, he would have won the race but he is capricious and can't think 3 seconds ahead of time.

This is even worse than Turkey. Max actually won Pole Position this time and lost because he can't keep his head on his shoulders.
