A step back? they added Deshaun Jackson, Miles Sanders and have 2 killer tight ends..

As far as Wentz being injury prone. he has only been in the league 3 years.
Too small a sample. year 1 played 16 games. year 2 played 14 games and got hurt on a freak dive into the endzone. I've been watching football for 40 years and never saw a guy get hurt like that.
year 3 played most of the season had a back issue and was pulled as a precaution because they had Foles.

The eagles offense is going to light it up this year.... just watch baby

Believe it or not I was rooting for the Eagles to go all the way last season when they made the playoffs. Foles seemed to have that magic riding again and it would have been interesting if they were to repeat as SB champs and begin the huge debate about Foles vs Wentz. The right answer would have been to keep Wentz and trade Foles which they did regardless.

He played against 1st team today. It may have been the Bengals and it's definitely too early to give him a hall of fame jacket but Daniel Jones is making every media outlet and analyst look like a moron right now. He goes through his reads, makes good decisions, has an amazing touch, puts the ball exactly where he wants it, throws a very catch-able ball. Still a rook that needs to learn a lot but he's passing the eye test right now and making all the other QBs drafted in April look real bad. I don't think Kyler Murray is going to be a bust but I think he's going to have a real bad season and Kingsbury's offense is going to fail in the NFL. I'm 100% confident that the Giants got their franchise QB. Cutcliffe is legit.

Players union has already said there is no way they will go for 18 regular season games. By the time the playoffs start these guys are all beat to hell as it is. Not sure what the owners would have to do to get that through the next contract.

Back in 1994 the NFL experimented with two bye weeks for each team and I hated it. Maybe if they cut the preseason down to two games, began the regular season two weeks earlier it might work. However, players may demand more pay/bonuses regarding the extra two ‘official games’.

Every year it seems that many key players are lost for the season during every preseason. So far the NFL has been somewhat fortunate this preseason.
