Take them off now, put on a set of decent non-RFT tires, and reinstall them when the lease is ending. You'll save money in the long run. |

I just installed Conti DWS 06 on my car. Bought them at 4wheelonline. So far, I like how they grip on dry and wet roads.

I'm seriously considering buying this car when the lease is up so the first thing I would do is trash the RFTs.

I'm surprised not more people running the Michelin Pilot Sport 4 S, which is pretty much better in every way than the old MPSS.

Michelin Primacy MXM4 ZP - SIZE: 225/40R18
IMO they are superior in every way to the Pirelli CINTURATO P7 All Season Run Flats that came with the vehicle. Recommended on Tire Rack (7.2 vs 5.6) Better dry Performance (8.7 vs 8.3) Better wet Performance (8.5 vs 8.2) Better handling Better Comfort definitely less road noise (8.1 vs 7.1)\ Higher Speed Rating (149 mph vs 130 mph) Supposedly better treadwear, won't know til they are worn out (8.1 vs 7.2) Less expensive $810 set vs $988. Michelin allows the tires to be patched for minor nail hits where Pirelli makes you purchase a new tire. As an added benefit they also protect the rims from getting curbed better than the skinny factory Pirelli's as Michelins run wide and have crazy stiff sidewalls in ZP's. Only down side I see is they weigh in 4 lbs heavier a tire which probably makes our M235i slower, |

PSS for summer and X-Ice for Winter.
How is the AS 3+ in the winter? I'm replacing the tires on my E350 4MATIC and wondering what to choose, A/S 3+ or DWS? |

SUMMER:
X3 runs the stock Pirelli rubber, it's ok but meh. Saab Wagon runs Goodyear Eagle Sport, very happy with them and better suited to summer than the DWS i ran last time. WINTER: X3: Pirelli sport sottozero, not great IMHO, too sporty and not enough bite. Saab: Blizzacks. Fucking animal tyres, chew through anything. |
