the pedestrian is stupid and so is the driver, I cross red lights all the time in the city but shit i look both ways to see if any cars are coming. why the fuck would one cross a road when you see a crazy ass guy speeding down the road, and then just stand there at least make a run for it or something

Ten bucks says the pedestrian was intoxicated which would attribute to several factors; inattentiveness, poor decision to enter the intersection when it was not safe, survival when being hit (drunk people tend to survive shit because they're more relaxed).

IMHO it takes two people to create an accident. That driver wasn't watching the road (and being a jackass racing on that busy street), and the pedestrian tried to cross without even looking to see if cars were coming...
