3 days at that rate... Try to put in 15 hours per day and make it an adventure! Do a fresh oil change if you are due soon for one before the trek... My car drank a whole liter of oil during my trip so carry a liter in the trunk... I would also change the intake air filter in your car if it is due before the trip, as your gas mileage will be significantly improved... I bought my E92 out of Denver and drove it home here to Gulf Breeze, fl without any problems in 2 days over 1500 miles... The cruise control on the e92 is one of the best I have operated, even at 140 mph, and it will save you gas by using it...

Honestly, it's not promoting. It's helping out people like you. I have plenty of business as-is. A forum wouldn't be the best place to advertise...even though this is done all the time on here.

To answer the other question, I'm located in Warminster

You mean not nearly as bad as driving your car? What is flying over the truck 9' off the ground?

I agree about the car cover but at the same time I think all new Audi's come with some type of cover on them during transport.

Anyone ever use an auto transport company to ship their car?

I'd like to ship my car from Louisville, KY to Phoenix, AZ.

Can anyone recommend a transport company/broker?

I've already found Intercity Lines and have asked for a quote, but am open to others as well. So hard to tell the good ones from the bad ones.

I've done it multiple times. A broker is going to find a company for you based on locations and date of transport. From there, you can do some only research and that company should have reviews. I have had actually better luck with smaller companies and more problems with the bigger transport companies.

Also have had brokers promise me one thing, book a company and then after my car is on the transport, the company refuses to deliver the car per the contract (i.e. a lot farther away for the pickup vice local). That had taken multiple angry phone calls to get fixed. But again, the larger companies tend not to give a shit about you as they have more moving parts to deal with.

I used JS Transportation on my M3 and Macan from Cleveland to Las Vegas. She is a broker but knows and uses the same drivers all the time. Went with the enclosed trailer and took 5 days. Cars were dusty but in perfect condition. Would use them again.

I would prefer to not go through a broker as they are essentially subcontracting it out and may promise things they don't have any control over. Then, if there are issues, they may try to pass the issue to the company that did the actual work and this company may or may not care what you have to say as you weren't paying the bill and won't be back either way.

I ended up using the broker that the dealer uses. I paid $950 for approx 1800 miles. The nice thing is that the dealer held onto the car and released it to the driver so I could just go about my travel plans without having to worry about that. They signed off on the inspection sheet and everything was great at delivery. I ended up meeting the driver at a Target just to make things easier. It took 4 days to pick up from the time I committed to the broker. They picked up Friday morning and delivered Sunday night (Labor Day weekend).

BTW... just for cost comparison, Intercity wanted $2400. But that was covered transport.

Vehicle Transportation Recommendations

Needing to arrange transport of my vehicle from the east coast to Texas. Any of you have recommendations?

I saw BMWCCA has a discount with vehiport, not sure how good they are or if anyone has had experiences.

Specifically needing enclosed transportation.

I also need transport. My allocation is on the east coast and I'm in Arizona. I think it will cost me about $2k.

Let me know who you guys are going with.

Exotic Car Transport of Orlando. Shipped both my GT3's from FL to TX and they are awesome. They own and operate their own trucks unlike most "shipping" companies who are just brokers and subcontract the shipping to random trucks. I paid about 1200 bucks enclosed with a flat lift gate truck. Let's just say the first time there was a car on the truck worth about 7X what my GT3 was worth.
