Trying to pull a Hamilton-Sutil joke.
They used to be really good friends until the China club incident.

Seems like next season 2014 opening race will be Bahrain instead of Melbourne.
The final pre-season testing next season will also be in Bahrain.

Great cars for the drivers parade – Austin Healeys. Maybe one of them is my ex Healey I sold to somebody in Ottawa in 1972.

I wonder if RBR will still complain about how bad the tires are now

Whatever. They have every right to complain. The car/driver makes the difference and did today.

Vettel was near flawless. Amazed by DiResta going 50-something laps on the same set of tires.

LOL @ Webber playing fastest-lap spoiler

Canadians are usually far too politically correct for that. Just your usual asshole-Ferrari fans who can't handle their liquor.

Beer probably has a higher consumption on the track than fuel.

Vettel managed to make the race "boring", but he is untouchable today! No argument there, period.

Alonso pass with everyone was fair and square, great drive.

Feels bad for Bottas, but the Williams just nowhere have the race pace. Its just one time wet qualifying like Brazil several years ago where Hulkenberg made it pole.

VET dominated and was a class above all. Sad to see WEB lose a chunk of his front wing, potentially could have challenged for a podium otherwise.

No one heckled vettel but there were a LOT of ferrari fans out today. They were happy to see Alonso take Hamilton. Van dergaarde screwed webber, he really fell off after he lost his wit, but was at least able to maintain position.

The race was a blast... I'm thrilled vettel won but wonder if he started 2nd if he could have gained the lead.

Sad news after the race.
RIP to the track marshal.

http://www.f1fanatic.co.uk/2013/06/1...prix-incident/

Quote:
The FIA has confirmed a marshal lost his life following an incident at the circuit following today’s Canadian Grand Prix.

The following statement was issued by the FIA after today’s race:

“The FIA is sad to announce the death of a Formula 1 Grand Prix du Canada circuit worker, at 6:02 pm.

“The worker, a member of the Automobile Club de l’Ile Notre Dame, was the victim of an unfortunate accident that occurred at the end of this afternoon’s Formula 1 Grand Prix du Canada.

“The worker was helping to recover a car which had stopped during the race. The recovery vehicle had lifted the car to return it to the pits and while doing this the worker dropped his radio and attempted to pick it up. As he did this, he stumbled and was hit and run over by the recovery vehicle.

“The worker was transported via helicopter to Sacre-Coeur Hospital where he was treated by the traumatology department of Dr Ronald Denis, Deputy Chief Medical Officer and Dr Jacques Bouchard, Chief Medical Officer of the Grand Prix. Unfortunately, the worker succumbed to his injuries at the hospital.

“The FIA, l’Automobile Club de l’Ile Notre-Dame and the Formula One Grand Prix du Canada want to communicate their deepest condolences to the family and friends of the victim. The identity of the worker cannot be revealed at this time.”
