That's my gripe with MCU. They under use and underestimate the hulk a lot.
I read the hulk comics for years, and it says hulk's power is nearly unlimited. The more angry he gets, the stronger and larger he gets. He can even get as large as a planet/moon.

But nearly everyone in MCU is nerfed compared to their comic book counter parts. Characters are only as strong as the plot demands. I think it’s better this way. Otherwise, what sense does it make for hulk to come in, beat Thanos’ ass in 15 minutes while the other Avengers sit there watching? (Refer to ending fight scene of Justice League).

They are getting pretty funny with the end credit scenes though. I was @ the Capt America end credit scenes at the end of Spiderman Homecoming.

Ok - in the comics, Thanos kills Cap easily - and others. Only with the time stone is the universe restored to where the hero's 'come back to life'....because they never really die

This. I could watch a Marvel Universe movie every month for years. No problem there. None at all.

Sometimes I envy fans of comic book hero movies. I sincerely just don't get how so many people get duped into this fantasy world. I have a successful friend who seriously can't shut up about comic book heroes and Game of Thrones. I'm genuinely envious that people not only have enough time in their lives to get to this level of involvement in make believe, but the fact that I get looked down on or criticized for not coming shy of full blown ejaculating in my pants when I hear a new superhero movie is coming out. No offense to any of you, but I simply don't get it. Perhaps it's just not my cup of tea. I suppose it's this way with any fan base of any series whether it be movie or television.
The only series that I have watched in the past few years is The Walking Dead, but only because the girlfriend enjoys it and honestly it's the worst shit I've subjected myself to. Terrible plots, even worse writing and WAY even worse acting. To me, all of these series, movies, shows, etc. are all geared on playing the emotions of the consumer in order to keep them hooked and continue to generate revenue. In closing, what does my opinion mean anyway? There are HUGE fan bases for these movies, people who spend lots of money on merch and in the end people making bank off of them and I'm nothing more than a lowly Project Coordinator who isn't interested in franchises or appealing to the masses, this is probably why I'm not rich. |

I played with blasting caps, gun powder and an old tire......almost forgot my favorite toy, stick.
I'm joking, I played with G.I Joe and Masters of the Universe (He-Man). Now ask me if I have any clue what happens in any of the movies surrounding these franchises now that I am an adult.....negative. As far as cartoons go, when I was younger, it was He-Man and whatever came on Saturday mornings, i.e. Smurfs, Snorks, etc. I watched the first G.I. Joe movie and it seemed like everything else I see, poor writing and commercialism. I did read some of the Transformers and G.I. Joe comics. The subject matter never appealed to me as I felt the writing was poor and character development took way too long for my ADHD to deal with. I was more geared toward the artwork itself, which is probably why I became a tattoo artist. No longer a tattoo artist now though, the vast majority of the clientele were just too much to deal with.
