To include building a bar similar to yours, bought some lake front property in FL last year with the plan to retire in my mid 40s and build the house on it and turn my front door key to my forever home in 2025.

This pic with the lake in the back is EXACTLY what I plan on having, except I plan on putting in a makeshift beach on the shoreline (similar to my future next door neighbor has done)

Wow, high praise, thank you. It's good to have a plan, this wasn't exactly what ours was but were pretty happy with how it is going. I retired 5 years ago and haven't looked back. My wife is planning on retiring in the next few months. We want to do some travelling and hanging out on our property. Our place is a log home on 1.5 acres, it's a big departure from how I've mostly lived but we've been here a year now and are loving it.

Sad note: recently cancelled The Tennis Channel

trying to cut monthly bills.

Both wife and I are fully retired so streamlining our spending. Will still get the big games on ESPN and other channels.

Managed before The Tennis Channel existed, will manage again. Been watching tennis since the '70s. Will see all the important matches. Will definitely watch the slams.
