(to be clear, despite disagreeing with you on almost everything else, I strongly support the 2A and the RTKBA, and think HR 1808 is an abomination. I just was curious if I missed a bunch of deleted posts)

When these are walking down your street what do you think the correct caliber is to disable it?
How about throwing a heavy duty net over it? Preferably a weighted steel mesh net? Then pull the thing over onto its side. Nets seem to work against low flying drones too.

When did I say that? Quote me correctly or delete your post. Fake News.

CP you should not comment in this thread. You know next to nothing about firearms. You don't know even the most basic things such as the difference between a clip and a magazine. You think ARs are assault weapons. You use political phrases like weapons of war to push an agenda. Go back to your gardening thread or whatever.

edit:
CP: If you continue to follow me around on this forum, post fake information like the above, and continue to frankly just be an annoying as fuck troll I will be forced to contact a moderator and ask them to deal with you. You add nothing to the discussion. You are 100% a troll. Fuck off. I know people stopped responding to you in the Highland park thread where you were being a troll there: https://www.e90post.com/forums/showt...1935883&page=9 now you are over here being a troll. Grow up, get a life. You are why threads get closed and why we can't talk about politics.

Sootch_00 posted about the new PSA Rock 57. It fires the 5.7 x 28mm round. Depending on the grain it can achieve rifle round velocities (…thus, Kevlar piercing). Most 5.7 x 28mm rounds are capable of velocities between 2300-2900 feet per second. I may pick one up.

Honestly what do you use it for? Bear protection?

All of the rounds I found are FMJ. Way to much penetration for home defense.

I did find these which should work on bears at 9mm: https://www.buffalobore.com/index.ph...t_detail&p=388

or hopefully stop one from charging and mauling you.

Sometimes we buy them just to have. Truth be told, I would still reach for one of my AR pistols in most situations. They are dialed in and my 300 BLK is a handy lil' home defense beast.

LAPD just seized a bunch of ghost guns from some felons. Quite the come up. That's how it is for us much of the time as well.

Well criminals shoot at us with them, knowing these go through us like Swiss cheese. There's a real world use.

If you do get one, I’d recommend the FNH and avoid the Ruger. Just my humble opinion.

Another get the FN over the Ruger. You should qualify for officer pricing if FN still does that. Not sure, it's been years since I bought an FN off their program.

For home defense against bears, it's whatever handgun I have until I get to my son's 15th bday rifle build. a .458 Socom. lol. Well his 2021 xmas build was a .350 legend, but I still think I'd grab the .458 for bear defense.

I want a .458 SOCOM!

The .458 and the .350 are both great calibers to have.
