Disneys been killing it for me since the 40s a share lol. If only they hadn't had the DUD ESPN deal right as the shift in landscape away from people plopping themselves in-front of sports-center re-runs all day, and now just getting updates on their phones. Literally only thing keeping them from 200+ a share lol.

Hoping my PDXP has a pot announcement affiliation soon. Hoping it goes from .005 close (up 75% since I posted ), to .01 -.03 cents this week

Phot is great gamble with tons of name recognition, their dilution is gut wrenching though. Management suspect. Feb could be nuts with an annual report lol. Could drop 50% if numbers or bad or shoot up 150% again like last time if its good...

POTN is nuts .... 6 cents to 95 and settled at 85 cents.

My pot stock list if people wanna narrow their focus:
TWMJF
ACBFF
TNDM
NHLE (sketchy stock but you can get a quick 40-80% if you time it right)
SCNA
EAPH (made a killing with them but can cause some pain if things get sideways)
UAMM
BLDV
MCIG
ERBB
ONCI
MCOA (killing on them prior to the sessions announcement )
SING
GRNH
VATE
AMFE
NEON
CNAB
MRMD
THCT
MEDFF

i'm staying away from most US plays for the time being until the Canadian ones max out, which they have not even come close to given all of the short term catalysts. Holding EAT and TGIF though. I'm in Canada so i dont use the US tickers

the US stocks will not moon until there is clarity on descheduling or fed legal.

for typical US equities i like the banks and yes, Disney is a definite buy over the medium term.

Yeah the Sessions fed announcement through a wrench in all the new capital getting ready to go into funding businesses. Not so much kids with joints getting mandatory minimums, but it sure threw US based businesses into a loop if you were set to apply for funding or have future funding.

I think theres still tons of opportunity but you're right might be another 2-4 years until it can flourish due to the federal regulators here.

the US weed stocks have a history of up and down with the colorado legalization and the ballot initiatives when Trump was elected. they are riding high now in anticipation of descheduling from GW Pharma Epidiolex later this year but that is still many months away which is an eternity in the sector.

there is nothing else like it though. Crypto is bullshit compared to weed right now.

I had faith this time around even with a more conservative run federal gov. that business could just continue as usual, but given the massive publicity that ran all during the Christmas holiday. I had a bad feeling in my gut and sold most of my PHOT, should have sold it all before it cratered. Now I just mostly watch the US stocks. I think you'll right you'll see up and down but for right now. Until some official positions with legislation can be taken and feds ease up its gonna be like 2012-14 all over again where everyone was like this is pots time in the market, when its really just gonna be a crap shoot

PDXP up another 40% today headed for 2-5 cents here soon

The other problem PHOT has is that their ticker symbol sounds like fart spoken with a New England accent. Terrible judgment to pick that ticker.

There are lots with different fees, account size structures, etc.

I think TDamertirade is flat out the best, 0 balance to start, can trade anything and everything from OTC grey market stocks (the crap of the crap), to Pinks to OTCQB all the way to Amazon lol

Its a flat rate so buy 1 share 6.99 sell 1 share 6.99. Buy 1 million shares 6.99 sell 500k shares 6.99 lol I like that approach most even though its not the cheapest fee structure its the most straight forward. It can sneak up on you when you're in a buy sell frenzy and avg. down situation but if you keep it in the back of your mind its never really a problem.

SO like most of my friends with low funds that I have helped make money with it. It hurts them initially paying such a high fee, but lots of others like E-Trade, Capital one etc. have some crazy fees associated with various penny stocks.

Its really whats best for you, but tdamteritrades apps/ programs for the pc that you get free with any account sized are near professional grade and great for anyone.

lol exactly hahaha They had a great catchy name for a pot company Growlife... Then botched the symbol lol

I'm looking to get back into them at the right time in the 1s but having seen it when it was delisted to grey market for 001 I'm in no rush to overpay for it lol

.015-.018 is my kinda sweet spot and then a hail mary that they have a nice quarterly

So where are the E90P ballers?

What are folks doing with Amazon? As of now, I'm waiting for $1,800 then I'm going to get out. Just bought a whole 3 more shares today.

Stock market tips and experiences

so i'm a total newbie to investing in stock market individually
(have only had robo-managed accounts before)
i just joined Robinhood and threw a little money in there to test the waters

of course i got in right before the massive dropoff in October .. then everything recovered ... just to take a dump again this week

anyway
i thought it'd be fun to share our favorite stock picks ... act like we can predict the future
and just share experiences and discuss investment strategies

one of my biggest failures as a newbie in the past couple of weeks?
selling CVS stock the day before dividends were paid out
lol
that's how new i am

should have just held onto CVS as it's been gaining steadily while most other stocks are tanking

(if you want a referral link so we can both get a free stock in some company, please message me)

very volatile... so going to see if i can just get in and get out for some quick profit

i started off by buying cheaper stocks ... but now I'm ready to buy some more $100+ shares
i'm waiting for my next deposit to clear to buy some shares of Visa and Microsoft
