The WHO states there is so many unknown facts about COVID-19; the latest is that if you have contracted this terrible disease, there is no guarantee that you are now immune from contracting it again.

The "release" of economies and the "gathering" of people has begun....it seems that we do not have the strength to remain separated, which is a complete slap in the face to medical professionals that are on the front lines fighting this global tragedy.

The US Centers for Disease Control's (CDC) guidelines state that businesses could begin to open if they meet the CDC's requirements: A 14 day decline in COVID hospitalizations.

There are six US states that opened their economies since this past Friday. None of the six states meet the CDC requirements noted above.

The US President announced this morning that daily briefings to the US public will now focus on the message of the economy and not on COVID data or science.

God help us all.

That's not good especially after his 'sarcastic' comment about taking down Dettol urgh,oh my goodness. We'll see how that goes down with people,I can see the Dems errupting.

He would like to do it but naturally it depends how the scientists and experts' latest report's are put to him then discuss in the hall with other MP's.
I don't think it will be back to normal,not by a long way and will depend on daily casualty numbers going down substantially with some more news on successful progress of tests on a vaccine.

Just in England the latest toll is 546 that died in hospitals from CV. I expect it to be higher taking accounting anomalies into perspective and from all of the other places like OAP homes etc.

Belgium: 113
US: 1,384

While less than last week, to think that (yesterday) nearly 2,000 people perished from this dreaded disease (in just the three countries noted) is horrible.

Data here has revealed that 35 percent more people died from CV than the government reported in it's daily figures in week ending 17th April.

There are now over a million cases in US and it's reported the death toll from CV has surpassed deaths from the Vietnam war.
