I knew this one would be easy. One more detail about the German sculpture, it's steel not stone. I took this photo the first year the sculpture was displayed. It is raw steel and has developed a wonderful rust patina over the years.

Jealous. I've only driven a couple although I did find myself on a train through the mountains while driving from Berchtesgaden to Venice. It was a bit of a surprise to come to the end of the road at a train station thanks to a navi that I didn't realize was set to avoid toll roads. It was a cool experience.

Post a picture you made yourself from an odd angle and it'll take weeks to find it

It's not always easy. Sometimes you have to watch for other clues in the picture like signs and language or focus on a certain area of unusual architecture. Historical landmarks are usually very easy since there are gazillion pictures on the web. Regardless, I find this thread very educational.
