Those actually suck. I had a few like that. Buy me stuff non-stop, pay for everything, and it just made me feel bad for them.

It wasn't like I was asking for any of it, but it was like they were trying to buy my attention.

Lets say you meet your wife in a year...do you really think you'll be spending less than $383.40/yr on her? View the charges like acclimatization to your eventual reality. Which will be far much more.
