I figured as much. No need to go high end with a mixer. I'll have to try some of the good stuff for sipping, though.

The Diplomatico rum is awesome. Another killer pick from TXSTYLE.

What is everyone's favorite vermouth? I drink Carpano Antica Formula but it's hard to find.

I typically like to stare at my unopened bottle of vermouth when shaking my martini's

I drink vermouth on the rocks, so looking for a nice sipper rather than something I use to mix drinks with.

I have an unopened bottle of Stock Italian vermouth that appears to be dark in color...which to be honest, I have no idea where it came from. And a bottle of Martini vermouth that I use for the Hendricks or Bombay gin martinis. On a rare occasion, I may use it to coat the frozen martini glass...but it pretty much ends there.

Never drank it straight...so I got no idea what it tastes like. Guess I consider it similar to triple sec...more an adder to something else.

I have to make "diabetic Cadillacs" so I salt a rim, put a few rocks, then generous TG and a splash of Grand Marnier. Now that I've found them, a key lime in there makes a nice cool sip.

I think I prefer it over the Plantation rum. It's smoother.

I just wish they sold this stuff in bigger bottles. LOL

That Cabo Wabo Anejo is my fav....or at least it was when Sammy was at the helm. Don't know now how it is now, but a couple years ago I think it was better than Patron or Don Julio by far.

So, I'm a bit excited as I have a bottle of Plantation 20-year Rum coming my way in a day or so. As, I have said the 5 year is pretty good, but I'm dying to get some sips in on the 20 year.

I usually save my drinking for the weekend, as I follow a pretty disciplined training schedule during the work week. if I'm working during the weekend, then my after hours routine gets adjusted (slightly) lol.

This is my normal selections for the most part... Nothing as extravagant compared to some of the other guys who posted here.

Last night was the first time I tried this Gold Label Whiskey, and I gotta say... me like!

My default drink is Hennessy. I can drink that all night and maintain a somewhat level demeanor. But that Gold Label is so smooth so it can creep up pretty fast, lol. I drink my stuff straight up. No point in ruining a perfectly good adult beverage. Fun times, as always.

Had some Gran Patron Burdeos this weekend. Pretty good, very smooth (sorry for the blurry pic after a few).

I went on the Carnival Booze Cruise to Ensenada this past weekend, and re-discovered the ill effects of Long Islands. But, when you gotta pay for each drink, Jack/diet was $8, getting 4 shots and a spritz of coke for $12 seemed the correct move. I haven't been shaky waking up in a long while.
