This snow thing though, tell me more about this. . .
Sometimes I do, sometimes I get lazy. But these ones are not on rims, so these I obviously don't do.

Maybe you re-watch Home Alone series? That's my two cents anyways. Keep the change you filthy animal.

Oh, man...sorry to hear about this; I've not been on here in a while. Be well, and be yourself. Get your equilibrium back, and you'll find someone. Take your time. My live-in GF and I parted company in January, and I actually enjoyed the quiet and enjoyed not having to negotiate anything with anyone. YMMV.

Sure enough, I was not disappointed. Though the one that stood out, was this one exceptionally bright individual in a Jeep. We were both sitting at the stoplight, I was in the inside right hand turn lane, and he was on the second/outside right hand turn lane.

The lane I'm turning into clears, but his isn't quite clear yet (but will be soon) and I see him start to lead off, as I'm starting to move as well. The F&F phrase "too soon junior" immediately jumps to mind, since I know he's not going to make it.

At this point, I'm quite certain I'm about to witness a dogshit like attempt at driving, so I back off, and sure enough, this induhvidual pulls right into the inside right lane (my lane) rather than his own, and was rewarded with a nice long blast of the horn from me.

No surprises. Winter tires are hopefully going on today for my wife's car...mine desperately need to go on so I'll get the next available date from my mechanic.
I live in a snowy area too (Minnesota) and it always amazes me how many drivers absolutely lose their minds after even a 1-2" snow. They completely forget what a lane is, what a turn signal is, where they live, what the 3 colored lights on a traffic signal mean, what "yield" means, how to perform basic maneuvers, and what "right-of-way" means. Very frustrating and hard to watch. Hard to understand how people can be so bad at something they've done for so long.

This is an interesting typo, because either the f is correct and we are just missing one l, in which case, more juicy details are required, or, the f is supposed to be an r, and it is less interesting but certainly understandable.

Perhaps the two of you have different definitions of "success" when it comes to that activity. I good felationship counselor might help straighten things out, so to speak, and get you a better out-come...

Nice catch. The f is correct and I was indeed missing an l. Yes, juicy details were missing, thus the lack of success on...well, both sides.

Both. Have their vocal cords removed and chain 2 or 3 of them to the inside door knobs at each entrance. Think of them as concierges to hell, for the Diamond rewards members.

My daughter had obviously inherited my extraordinary math skills.
Into a math exam the question was like 'Tim whacks a ball 30 meters away. Robin drops 6 meters shorter. How many meters had Robin achieved?'
So she wroted 'Robin threw 6 meters shorter than Tim'
Clever girl

So my Audi started shaking and feeling like it was misfiring all of a sudden one afternoon - tried to limp it to the dealer but died completely halfway there, so had to tow it the rest of the way.

Dealer says the turbos are cooked (twin turbo v8), I've been out of warranty for about 6 months now, so technically I'm on the hook and the dealer wants $16K to repair.

So right now I'm trying for a goodwill repair by Audi since it is so close to warranty expiration - we'll see. Not a bill I particularly wish to foot.

Sadly, my research prior to buying this car indicated this could be a problem - some owners were experiencing blown turbos and some were fine - those that blew the turbos all said it was due to a clogged filter in the oil line feeding the turbos, but it wasn't yet common enough for Audi to do a recall.

So I knew this going into it, but took a gamble hoping I wouldn't be one of the ones affected...but I was. That said, I'd do it again, because the cost to change out the filter would have been about $2-3K (primarily all labour, filter is super cheap) because they have to rip everything apart to get to the filter. And that would be out of pocket, without knowing if I would even be one of the ones with a problematic filter.

Fingers crossed Audi covers this!

Dang man, that hurts in the morning!
If got the experience with worn out warranties that when your checks are over the years are flawless and everytime on time, the grace period would be given, but prepared for a share of the entire price. Well, but thats beyond 16k. Good luck.
