my Nissan Titan driver's window stopped working and after watching many videos it looks like a regulator issue.

Yes - but said guy is 121 miles away and I'm not driving that far with the window down on the day after Christmas.
Me fix myself. Ooga ooga.

Actually - that is your window regulator motor. The window regulator itself is the mechanism inside the door that allows the window to go up and down.
Semantics, I know, but I'm an accountant, so what do ya want....

So, this whole Mandela affect thingy is starting to bother me, a LOT. My youngest really explained it to me in a way I understood just recently.
2 cases in my own life. 1) A Christmas Story: "Fra-GE-Lay, it must be <French/Italian?>" Italian doesn't even make sense. I've been saying French since Nineteen hundred and eighty-something 2) Star Wars: "<Luke/No>, I am your father" Again, No doesn't even make sense, and certainly doesn't flooow off the lips (even if you don't have any because they burned off) Who freaking messed with the time line????? |

My Christmas week. This was shot on Tuesday, at which point I had owned this new (to me) 2016 GLC 300 less than a week. The Electronic Ignition System (ESI) croaked, which rendered the vehicle useless. The transmission could not be shifted out of park and the parking brake could not be released. End result, the flatbed driver had to *drag* it across my garage floor and onto the flatbed. Some MB engineer had his head up his ass on that one. Because of the holiday next week, I may finally get to use my *new* car by next weekend.

On the one hand I can see this being a good anti-theft thing. On the other, it screws the owner if it's not a case of theft. I shudder to think how bad this would have been had it happened in some airport parking garage after a long trip. I was lucky this happened at home.

I've looked at some and even thought about buying a set to leave in the rear storage area. But they're (obviously) pretty hefty. Do you leave yours in the car or just in the garage?

In the garage. If I need a tow, I request a vehicle with dollies.
