For him, yes. For me, I'm dealing with overheating and pad knock back issues.

I don't particularly have any issue with pad knockback but my standard braking procedure includes a very brief very light pressure on the pedal just prior to my actual braking just to take out any knockback that has occurred

Mine is really bad. After the esses, my brake pedal goes straight to the floor. I was struggling. Used my left foot to prime the brakes before every braking zone. I think I'm going to replace my front wheel bearings and get the fully floating rotor hardware from Stoptech. Trying to avoid anti knockback springs since I need to pull the pistons for that. Not sure what else to do

That doesn't sound right you sure you don't have air or have boiled fluid one too many times. What pads, fluid and kit?

Stoptech ST40 355mm front and rear kit. Pads are PFC 08s and fluid is Motul RBF600. The kit and pads were brand new. I installed it and bled them until the pedal was hard as a rock. I did my first event with them and had the knock back problem first session out.

I'm as puzzled as you are. My friend is running a ST60/ST40 combo and has zero knock back.

Yeah, I'm not exactly sure. Might talk to Stoptech and see what they think.

How's the M4 btw? Driving still bring a smile to your face, or getting jaded?

At least Lups can live vicariously through you since she no longer has Peter. And you through her perhaps with all this horse talk...seems you both share an eerie fascination for horses and M cars, and each has an experience the other doesn't?
