Never been much of a BBK fan. Had Brembo's on the Rsx-S and never doubted since.

There aren't many parted out M2s yet. It's only been out a year. Lol. That's for new ones.

Might want to brush up on your BBK pricing. Brembos typically run around $8k for a front and rear set.

based on the ct urogram performed this afternoon, and much to the disappointment of the rest of you fuckers, looks like i'll live to see another day (and eat another phat ass)

tomorrow i go in to have my peepee hole penetrated...dreading that even more so than last week

if you take your time on it, and prep/coat adequately, spray can works fantastic...

i painted my truck's front and rear calipers way back in the day and simply put the truck on jack stands, popped wheels off, taped some trash bags around the calipers (REALLY took my time to make sure paint doesn't get everywhere) and went to town...

prepped by cleaning thoroughly and putting something on them (i forget now what it was), then gave it a a good 6-8 coats on fronts and 3-4 on rears

easy peezy, looked great, and got to enjoy the nice weather out that sunday afternoon

Well I did a search earlier and a bunch of stuff came up in that price range but I didn't look into it any further since I don't want to mess with major components yet.

Damage is nearly all cosmetic. Drivers door, fender, bumper, headlight. $4600 repair estimate.

Fancy pants Xenon adaptive headlight is the only thing really "broken", mounting tab broke, but it still works. Could reattach bracket and be fine.

I don't browse the classifieds to be exact on prices, but stuff maybe worth selling:

Sport seats - $600-700
Split, folding rear bench - $200
Aluminum trim - $200
Sport springs - $100
Stock turbos - $4-500
DPs/Cats sell or scrap - $1-200
Stock 18" 189s - $400
Winter wheels/blizzaks - $500
Stock 3.08 open diff - $400

So maybe 2500-3k of stuff I could sell, depending on what I could get for the stuff. Would keep the rest of the drivetrain/ECU/etc obviously.

You can just paint them. Only need remove wheels. Get a good kit and a weekend, done. I've painted calipers body color with regular paint for customers and even using a spray gun it's not too difficult. Cleanliness is key.
